Porter is a seven year old sweetheart looking for a special home. He has Addison's Disease, which is well-controlled with just one pill, twice per day. His medication runs approximately $30 per month. Dogs with Addison's Disease are unable to produce one or two hormones, so the hormones are replaced by providing artificial substitutes. Dogs with Addison's Disease can and DO lead full and happy lives once they're provided with artificial replacements for the hormones their adrenal glands are no longer producing. Porter loves leaning on you and being petted. He also enjoys taking walks and just spending one on one time with you. He seems to get along well with cats, dogs and children.
